ASQPE (ASsociation pour la Qualification de la Précontrainte et des Equipements des ouvrages de bâtiment et de génie civil) is an independent association established in 2002.

Its mission is to qualify and follow up products, processes and services (notably their installation) in the following domains:

- prestressing by post or pre-tensioning (tensile elements, anchorages, sheathings, filling materials, etc...)
- cables, suspensions and stays,
- structural equipments for civil engineering structures (structural bearings, expansion joints, etc…)

and more generally, to promote the quality of products, processes and services so these satisfy the above needs.

ASQPE complies with the standards NF EN 45011 of May 1998 which defines the general requirements for bodies certifying products.

ASQPE is currrently :

- Acknowledged by the French Government for issuing certificates of conformity for prestressing steels,

- COFRAC accredited according to standard NF EN 45011 for certification of industrial products (prestressing steels, post-tensioning kits, elastomeric or pot bearings) as number 5-0043,

- Notified Body identification number 1683 nominated by the French Government to the European Union Commission for CE marking of post-tensioning kits, elastomeric or pot bearings for buildings and civil engineering structures.
